From Core Power Modules to a Charger Development Model

 

UUGreenPower originally built its business around DC charging modules, which perform the core AC-to-DC power conversion inside a charger. A customer buying modules alone still needs to design the rest of the charger, select compatible components, coordinate suppliers, complete system testing, and prepare the finished product for its target market.

 

UUinside extends support beyond the power-conversion core. Instead of leaving every customer to build the surrounding charger architecture from zero, it provides a structured starting point for developing a complete DC charging product.

 

Three Layers of the UUinside Model

 

The UUinside model can be understood in three layers.

 

The system layer defines how the complete charger should be arranged. It covers charging-system solution design and the relationships between the main functional units.

 

The component layer provides standardized units for major charger functions. These include the AC Unit (ACU), Power Module Unit (PMU), DC Unit (DCU), Display Unit (DSU), and Cable Management System (CMS), with a POS machine available as an option.

 

The service layer supports OEM/ODM design, customized development, certification, one-stop procurement, and operation and maintenance planning. These services help turn a technical concept into a product that can be assembled, tested, and supported.

 

A Typical UUinside Project Flow

 

A project normally begins with the customer's target market, required charger power, connector type, installation environment, and intended application. These requirements guide the system architecture and the selection of ACU, PMU, DCU, DSU, and other components.

 

The customer may then define cabinet appearance, brand identity, interface details, and market-specific requirements. Standard units provide the technical foundation, while customization addresses the parts that distinguish one customer's charger from another.

 

Before final assembly, major functional units can be produced and checked separately. The charger is then assembled according to the approved configuration, followed by system verification and certification work for the intended market.

 

The Meaning of One-Stop Support

 

"One-stop" does not mean that UUinside is simply a list of recommended suppliers. The platform combines system design, core components, customization, procurement support, certification services, and O&M support within one project framework.

 

It also does not mean that one fixed charger is supplied to every customer. The same platform can support different power levels and charging applications by using suitable component configurations. The aim is to reuse a validated architecture where possible while still allowing controlled customization.

 

Clear Project Responsibilities

 

UUinside supports the charger-product lifecycle, but it does not automatically replace every participant in a charging project. Site construction, utility connection, local permits, installation, payment operations, and local field service may still be handled by the customer or regional partners unless they are separately included in the project scope.

 

For that reason, responsibilities should be defined early. The customer and solution provider should agree on design ownership, component supply, certification tasks, software integration, final assembly, commissioning, and after-sales support.

 

A Structured Route to Market

 

UUinside is best understood as a structured way to develop a DC fast charger rather than as a single product. It combines a charger architecture, standardized functional units, and supporting services so that customers do not need to coordinate every layer from the beginning.

 

For overseas brands, manufacturers, and charging-solution providers, this model can simplify development, local assembly, sourcing, and component-level service. The final charger still requires complete system validation, but the path from concept to deployable product becomes clearer and more organized.
